The Emerson 3-Way Esquire Prewired kit offers three distinct sound positions, allowing for precise volume and tone adjustment using our Emerson Pro pots. The first position, Volume Only, delivers a straightforward base tone. Switching to the second position, Standard Volume & Tone, lets you fine-tune your tone, providing a notable difference from the bypassed tone signal in the first position and the fixed capacitor tone in the third. The third position, Volume & Fixed Capacitor, features a 0.0047uf Paper In Oil capacitor for a fixed rolled off tone (Eldred Mod), independent of the tone pot. Wired with 22 AWG vintage push-back wire for a vintage aesthetic and sound, and soldered connections to the input jack are insulated with heat-shrink for durability. If installing on an import guitar with metric sized pots, you may need to ream your control plate holes to accommodate slightly larger US-Spec pots and purchase US-Spec knobs.
