Stonehenge Aqua Hotpress Block offers an exciting surface that is 100% cotton and sized for watercolor. Ideal for experimentation and luminous illustrations or paintings with metallic or pearescent paint, ink or pencils, this paper has superior wet-on-wet performance, withstanding repeated wetting/drying over long periods of time. Instead of building up shadows, build up light, utilizing the negative space that a black surface provides. Lift, blend and layer colors as needed, with plenty of control; due to superior color holding properties, bright colors remain bright after drying. The rich surface is buckle-resistant and durable, with the same surface on both sides.
